The Ferring Urology Pipeline
As part of our commitment to the urology community, Ferring has invested in the development of several products designed to treat urologic disorders. Over the next several years, our goal is to deliver a diverse offering of products with clinical utility and ensure that these products fulfill the changing needs of physicians and their patients. Products targeted at prostate cancer and nocturia are currently in Phase II or III testing.

Prostate Cancer
GnRH receptor agonists are a well-established treatment for advanced prostate cancer. Ferring is now developing an agent in the emerging class of GnRH antagonists. This agent, a potent and selective GnRH receptor antagonist, is currently in trials for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Nocturia
Several products, including a new formulation of the antidiuretic desmopressin acetate, are now under study for their effectiveness in treating nocturia.
